Please help a good add for pump and motor. They left may years ago and just today the motor blew its electrical. We can say 24000 gal pool and 60 ft DE filter and salt water just last year, if some whatever adds to the list. I have limited unfortunately I can now the great forums and many tutorials for TFP because had a stroke just three December. But I'd sure what when ever I can and get started. Thanks.

What HP is your Hayward Super II pump?

I can't tell anything about the Hayward Super II because it's going to anything. The motor so old the metal well it blow up electrical today. The one told me it would update motor and pump just now.

Which one is your electrical wiring?
We do not know if we can recommend a pump that requires 230V or if you must have a pump that runs on 115V.

That tells me your pump is 1.5HP.
Still do not know what your actual voltage in your electrical wiring is.
If you have 230V running your pump, which you probably do, a Nidec Neptune NPTT225 motor will work.
Please check, or have someone check, your voltage. A good way is to just look at your circuit breaker for the pump. Is it a double-pole breaker, two handles connected? Then you have a 230V system.
Thanks from looking because I have zero electric for anything. I guess we'll have to some pool to view for we get this motor and/or pump after work.

The last week my old pump stopped work when it electrical stopped working, and a new Pentair VS Monday or Tuesday will get finally to day. The pool is out of chlorine probably 10 days but do I should SLAM it when stop SWG at first, and just the start the SWG and starts when it Pentair VS? When the Pentair VS first stops my pool levels got out off all and reset levels. Thanks.

You need the pump running to follow the SLAM Process
The SWG should be OFF during the SLAM Process
Once you pass the three exit criteria for the SLAM Process then turn the SWG on.

Thanks very much your help. I will follow your SLAM and right away. Unfortunately I had a stroke in December and I know lot of what to know, but speech can I doesn't either understand or I can't some information can say correctly. I'm told that I will hopefully getting better will 3 to 6 or 10 months again. I was actually a clinical psychology and I am hate the problems now here. Your about three years were huge lessens for TFP had great pool tell. If can't continue when I permit if well when I do better. Thanks truly.

I'm sorry to hear about the stroke and I see now that you mentioned it above. It can really mess with your communication skills. Your first post makes more sense now. Keep up what will be the hard work down the road.
Our Pentair WhisperFlo VS started and worked my guy for the first general way to start the pump. The WhisperFlow started to pump first and then the several third pumps started from 1,2,and 3 speeds. I'm trying to understand how to use the setting pumps.....I guessing here where here goes. So we begins use the 1,2,3 speeds like this(maybe)......on set 1 speed for like 3000 and set that speed for 8:00 to 11:00, then set 2 speed like 1400 and set that speed 11:00 to 3:00, then set 3 speed for 2200 and speed for 3:00 to 6:00. If I understand that correctly will that 10 hours will pumps. Will you have to start the pump over again every 10 pumps? But, however, do you support to combination three speeds and settings together all of the 24 pump total. Either way, I'm you suppose to mount 1,2,3 speeds, and either long speeds. The other question is how or why to the salt.

Some one I've read for all my pool 24000 for 24 hours runs all the time. Yes how pool is correct, or more? How is the fill the Speed, Time and Duration really add to find the create 24000 gal for the 24 hour?
