SPQ is UL 2017

Ideal Security SK644

Defiant lists as UL 2017 Defiant Wireless Pool Alarm THD-PA

You are in GA and some rules are state specific. While Defiant states they are UL 2017, it does not meet California's requirements for pool alarms. this may also be true for SPQ and Ideal Security. This is because it can be bypassed (turned off) with the keypad and does not automatically reset once activated by an opened door after the door is closed again. The same is true in FL for this alarm for the same reason. I don't know the law in GA.

Information on the product webpage is poor in my opinion. Do any of these products have a master alarm that multiple wireless sensors can be connected to or do I need one alarm box/sensor per window and door? I have 4 total doors/windows I have to alarm and it seems silly I'd need to put one of these large alarm boxes at each one. From what I can tell the alarm portion is about the size of a deck of cards, while not "large...large" I'd prefer not to have one of these at each opening.

As mentioned earlier, check the specific requirements for your jurisdiction. In general, there are two types of door/window alarms that fall under UL 2017: immediate activation or 7-second delay. With immediate activation, you need a bypass switch on the outside to allow entry without activating the alarm. The 7-second delay requires no bypass switch/button since you have time to deactivate inside once opening the door.

I haven't seen any wireless solutions, but I haven't had to search for a few years.
