Heater plumbing union slipping

Hey all, attempting to reconnect this union going into my pool heater and it keeps slipping off. See video. Any advice how to get it to seat correctly?

What heater is that?

Maybe a bad male or female threads.

Check both threads and see if one or both are damaged.

Raypak R406A-EN-X.

Threads on both ends look fine. It’s almost like the collar on the joint isn’t wide enough and it’s causing the “screw” portion of the union to slip off when it’s being tightened

Ask Raypak to replace it under warranty.

Ok got the new part. Re-plumbed it. And I have a small leak at one of the slip couplings. See pic. Any advice how to fix that without having to rip it all out and redo it?
