Hi I thought all my connections were tight and I have primed and started the filtration system this morning. All good but water is trickling from the top of the sand filter lid. I want to remove this, check the o ring and add some lube? Then continue filtering. I am not sure if it is safe to close all valves and then just undo the lid? Is this possible or do I need to drain the level as it is full of water or will just a small amount flow out when I undo it,? Many thanks

To better answer your question, it would help to see what type of filter and equipment you have on your equipment pad. Can you post a few pics of the filter, valves, and plumbing?
