Would the pool math logs be good enough? That is a very unusual pattern. I would start by notifying the manufacturer to see if they've seen anything like that before. Fair warning, be prepared to show them your water testing history.
Hard to tell. If you have nothing else it might help. Most pool manufactures are still stuck in the dark ages and like to see pool store testing. Even with all its flaws, it's generally their first request. But I've never seen unusual wavy patterns like yours, so perhaps they will look at your situation a bit differently.Would the pool math logs be good enough?
^^^ What he said. You may want to report it to the installer and manufacturer.
Ok, looks like I am in a bind. Installer and I almost went to court over his multiple mistakes, I would have to hire an attorney. Manufacturer was less than honorable through the whole install, so thinking they will probably blow me off again. Ugh!^^^ What he said.
If it was seeping in through the backside of the shell wouldn’t it also seep out from inside the pool? We have a pretty high water table ourselves but it’s hard to me imagine that water would seep through the fiberglass either way.Ok, looks like I am in a bind. At any rate, has anyone ever had water seep in from the backside of the fiberglass shell?
Is it possible that it’s some type of metal staining? If it was seeping in through the backside of the shell wouldn’t it also seep out from inside the pool? We have a pretty high water table ourselves but it’s hard to me imagine that water would seep through the fiberglass either way.

I am not sure if water from the backside is partially through the shell or what is going on. All I know is the discoloration only recently appeared and it is not on the inner/finished side of the pool, so that makes me believe it is water from the back. I have been very meticulous with my water quality management, so I am having a hard time believing the issue is from my neglect. If it was seeping in through the backside of the shell wouldn’t it also seep out from inside the pool?
