A Walmart in my location currently has 1 gallon of 10% chlorine for $5.67 for pick up in stock. Has anyone tried the product? Seems to be the best price I can find, better than HD, better than other places even after taking into account $ per % sodium hypochlorite differences across brands. Thoughts/concerns appreciated.

That is the standard cost for their 10% liquid chlorine. It is fine if not too old. Check the Julian date. Best if made in the last 30 days. If older than 60 days, buyer beware.
You didn't say the brand. Walmart here sells Pool Essentials chlorine. It's good to use.
