Pressure treated wood vs concrete paver question.

What would be better to support my AGP (22x12x4) Bestway.

Pressure treated wood or concrete pavers?

i know that for the pavers they need to be at least 4 inch thick and have to be digged in the ground.

will pressure treated wood 2 inch thick would be good enough? does pressure treated wood have to be digged into the dirt just like the pavers or can they be on top of the ground?
What are your thoughts?

Not an equipment expert but I would go with pavers. Even treated wood rots and most treated wood states to not place in contact with the ground.

The age old debate! I used pavers but mine stays up year round. Wood is also a good choice.

You have to use PT wood that's rated for ground contact. It should outlast the pool! But pavers are good, too. When it comes down to it, I'd probably use pavers...well, concrete slabs is what they are, really.

It's up to you, and I've used both. If you choose wood, get the wood rated for ground contact. If you choose pavers, get the 4" thick and wide enough for the entire support to be on the paver. I'd dig in whatever I chose for the support. I thiink the idea is to have the bottom of the pool and the feet at the same level so there's no stress on the pool anywhere.

I used 2 inch 8x12 pavers on a 52 high 18 round and none have cracked but most people recommend the 4” concrete blocks. I also used two pressure treated wood blocks instead of pavers in two spots as I had roots in the way I could no longer dig out effectively by the time I was setting the pavers. I made custom cut pads out of the wood for those legs and I’m sure it will be fine.
