Pool was just filled. What chemicals should I put in water

Okay I did the FAS-DPD test. The water in the tube turned clear after adding the 6th drop. Thank you again
So that's either 3 FC or 1.2 FC, depending on sample size. Did you use 10 ml or 25 ml?
And when you measured out the CYA, what was your intended target?
I filled the water up to 10ml in the tube. I have no idea what I'm doing to be honest. I think I have read alot of things about having too much cya and so I really wasn't sure how much to add. So to be safe until I asked you I only put half of the container into the skimmer. Thank you again
That makes your FC = 3.
How big was the container? If it was a 4 pounder and you added half, that will only raise your CYA to 15. At the moment, your FC is okay. I'd expect it all to disappear before you check it tomorrow. That's normal, and nothing to get excited about.
What about the rest of the tests? You should check pH and FC pretty much daily until you get comfortable with the chemistry. As you do more testing and calculating doses and see the results, it will start to make more sense.
The container is 4 pounds. I did the other test. The chlorine is at 2-4 and the PH is at 7.2. Thank you again
Hello, I wanted to ask you what I could put in the pool to make the water very clear? It has been raining alot here and now the water seems a little cloudy to me. Should I add more chlorine to it or clarifier? The chlorine does seem to leave fast. I have only used liquid chlorine and a 4 pound container of stabilizer in it so far. Any help or advice you could give me I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much
