Hi, will there be an effect on pool chemicals and equipment prices due to the tarriffs that just started? I saw tons of pool chemicals available at Costco,BJs, Sams, and typically i dont see these items until later in the spring. I was considering purchasing 12.5 % liquid shock from BJs, as a 4 pack is $20 on sale. My pool opening is not scheduled until May 17 (I am in NY and we don't have a heater). Would the shock go bad? Additionally, I have the TF test kit from last July, would the reagents need to be swapped out for new ones? Thank you!

If you’re getting close to running low on any reagents the refill sale is going on right now at tf test kits so its a good time to order what you need to get through the season.

Liquid chlorine is produced in the us so it shouldn’t be terribly affected by tariffs other than vicariously via increased fuel prices for transporting it etc.
be sure to check the date codes on any you buy- you don’t want last years old stock.
