Has anyone found a way in 2025 to integrate the OmniPL with Google Home as Hayward said from release that would be possible? I called support, they said that someone would call me back which never happened, I searched for it, nothing. There are some instructions on how you may integrate it with Home Assistant but it seems cumbersome and a bit of a long shot.

Logging into https://haywardomnilogic.com you can still go to Settings > Nest (Works with Nest) and click Login to Nest, but Nest has been gone for a long time. So this also tells me that Hayward is not putting any effort whatsoever into this interface, I mean it would have a 10 year old 5 minutes to hide a button and tab.

Anyway, any ideas or should I let go of this?

If that's the case, it's a real shame. I guess I will have to figure out how to hook it into Home Assistant, and then I use Nabu Casa to tie Google Home into Home Assistant without giving Google unfiltered access to all my devices. It's the right way to do it, I was just curious if Hayward tried to make it right.

I am posting this here just in case anyone will be looking for the same thing. It is clear by now that Hayward is no longer offering any kind of integration with Google Home. If someone figured it out, please drop a note here. But I was able to get things working with Home Assistant. This is the integration: Hayward Omnilogic. It takes 30 seconds to set up. At this time, in addition to all the sensor, you can turn the pump on and off but they are working on adding other relays and the lights. And then I use Nabu Casa to integrate Google Home with Home Assistant ($60/year) and can give commands to control my devices without exposing my entire home to Google. It works but you obviously need to be running a Home Assistant instance.
