Jandy Aquapure 1400 backboard replacement R0404100

Hi All,

My Aquapure 1400 recently started having a 171 and 190 which indicates that the backboard needs to be replaced. Upon searching for the backboard replacement part (R0404100) the item has been discontinued and I don't see any other online retailers having this part in stock. I tried contacting Jandy with no resolution for a replacement part. Anyone have any recommendations or have used an alternative part? I see that the Aquapure 1400 system is still available for sale in retailers but replacement parts are discontinued. TIA.

Thanks for the response. I've been watching Ebay items and some do get posted for an average of $150. I saw the $375 one but was worried that indicates no returns and warranty. When I contacted Fluidra/Jandy they gave me part number R0467400 which is the user interface board. When I looked at the pictures of the board I asked where the cell connectors are which they mentioned they would need to research and no response as of yet. I'm looking at the latest manual for Aquapure 1400 and see part R0467600 that appears to be the backboard. Any insight if this can be a straight replacement connecting to my existing front board or would i need to upgrade other parts? TIA.

Fluidra finally responded indicating "Unfortunately, the system you currently have cannot be used with the new boards. You must upgrade the power pack to model APUREM." APUREM looks like its already an old system and appears purchasing one will put me in the same situation where parts will be obsolete. Anyone else in the same predicament?

You can replace just the AquaPure system. Not sure how old your current RS is.
This is what I purchased when I converted from LC to SWCG some years ago.
I only had to connect it to the main AquaLink box for power and run a RS485 cable for control.
