Filter Leaking from the Main Body on "Seam"

Is any of the old sand reclaimable?

Pull it out and see how it looks before deciding to get new sand.

Most likely, it will be fine with a rinse and reuse.

Maybe support it on some landscape fabric to wash it down.

or spend the extra $80 and get a new valve with desired size.

Get the new valve to avoid problems.

Yes, I agree. The price for the entire filter system was less than expected. Great idea on the landscape fabric...and I even have a roll laying around in the shed too. New Filter ordered, on the way, free shipping.
