Check my signature for what I use. Extech EC 400 with K-1766 as backup. The Extech has proven to be reliable within 100 ppm over 6 years of use.
I bought the digital one from tftestkits.net and it was inline with the Taylor salt kit.

Works fine. It sits idle six months out of the year, and if it craps out at the start of the season I buy another one. It is repeatable. So if the meter differs by 200 ppm compared to what the SWG is reporting and 300 ppm compared to the K-1766 it says that way. The readings do not drift around and I know what to expect with a quick test.
