Citric Acid dosage for stain removal

Hi TFP,
I'm looking to rid my vinyl of some black metal staining. I cant get AA in my small town but did get my hands on a bunch of citric acid.
In the pool school it states .5-1lbs of AA per 10K gallons, so how much CA would I need?
Any other advice that might be helpful? Is one bottle of sequestriant enough? How long should I expect it to take?

How are you testing your water? What other Metal prevention strategies have you tried? What sequestrant products do you use? And have you had your water tested for iron level?
