Hey everyone
I bought a house last year, that had a 20 x 40‘ inground, oval pool, with a vinyl liner. The pool was built about 10 years ago and has always been maintained as a bromine pool. (I’m just outside of Philadelphia PA so I know bromine is not ideal).
I am going through a 50 pound bucket of bromine tabs, every month. I currently use pool life bromine advance, which is around $400 for 50 pounds (and is 141% avail bromine and 62.8 avail Chlorine).
I have seen that I can buy Hydria clear, which is more straightforward at 65% bromine and 30% available chlorine tabs, for almost half the price from many other stores.
I guess the question is, is there really a difference between these two?
