We're planning on an ipe deck around one end of our pool (it will be raised ~18"). I'd love to hear from people who have had ipe decking to hear how it held up. I've done some searching and several threads with folks that have or were planning ipe decks around pools but only a few that had more than a couple years of use.
My expectation is that I'll need to get it restained/sealed each year. But even doing that, will it hold up to the harsh environment a pool presents?
