Any DIY basketball goals?

I have an older roll around goal that my boys no longer use. The back board is perfect so I am thinking of getting some aluminum tubing and making my own poolside goal. Has anyone else done this?

Do you have a hole in the decking that it could go into?

Another thing to think about is the hardware on the goal. Make sure it is GOOD stainless steel.

My husband just bought a moveable basketball goal system too. We have sports sockets for the volleyball poles, he is going to take the backboard and mount it to the volleyball pole. We got a light up system for the rim that’s triggered when you make a basket and A light up basketball.
