Advice On Above Ground Pool Cover With Partial Deck

Hello there, trying to get ahead of the curve this year. I've owned this above ground pool (see picture below) for three years now and every year it's the same story--when I go to open the pool, the cover is filled with debris, water, leaves etc and it is impossible to get it all off the cover without everything dumping into the pool. So i'm here looking for some new recommendations. Previously, I've just used a heavy duty cover, with a pillow in the middle (which seems to pop every year) held on to the porch with 2x4's and held on to the outside of the pool with the wire spool tightener. I'll be the first to admit that my method is terrible. So, anyone have a good system with a good cover (that won't break the bank) so that I can not be fishing leaves out of my pool every summer that can be easily attached to a half deck?

I have a solid tarp cover and each year there are a lot of leaves on the cover. Every few weeks or monthly I take my Red Maxx backpack blower and push all the leaves to one end of the pool (deep end by the diving board). The pump sits on the steps and siphons the water out. With most of the water removed, it is very easy for me to pick up the leaves by hand. I do this a few times per year.

This is the only thing I can think of. Outside purchasing a solid safety cover, but then you would need cement in the grass with anchors as well. Sometimes I will drain most of the water and the sun will dry everything out making it easier to pick up the leaves as well. Unfortunately this is the tarp issue.
