unfortunately the return plug is threaded and did not fall out. It has to be a leak somewhere... I can only assume its somewhere around the water level at this time given it hasn't leaked anymore than it has.

Just be aware that lumber costs are through the roof. We put a large 25' x 20' deck on our 27' round pool late last summer and the cost is out of control. The deck you drew I bet is 15k+ right now
