    Recommendation for Automation

I was going to buy a pentair superflow vs the Intelliflo. Let me see if there is a similar option with the SuperFlo

    Recommendation for Automation

I have a 27' AGP with a single speed pump and I follow the TFP method of using liquid chlorine. This year I would like to transition to a VSP and install a salt water system. At the moment I have a manual timer that runs the single speed pump. It appears that I have a few different solutions...

    Variable Speed Pump on AGP

I live in CT with the highest electric rates in the country and considering moving to a variable speed pump on my 27' AGP. Currently I have a 1.5hp hayward 240v pump on a manual timer and an "integrated" Hayward cartridge filter. If I go with a 1.5hp VS pump will it be ok to plumb it into the...

    AGP Winter Leak

Any other tricks to finding a leak in the vinyl liner other than the food coloring or pool leak dye?

    AGP Winter Leak

My AGP has been covered for 1.5 months and noticed the other day the the cover was way too low. Much to my surprise there is only 1 foot of water in the pool. I immediately pulled the cover off to prevent it from pulling in the side. I then got my waders on to see if I could find the leak and...

jandy system--how do i control autofill level on pool?

The blue thing is a pool alarm that floats on the water and makes noise if there is a wave. Totally unrelated to this issue

    Low pH and high Alk

I opened my pool for the year and its been running for 2 weeks. It's crystal clear and ran all my tests this weekend, but not sure what the right approach should be to correct the pH without adding more Alk. Any thoughts? pH - 6.6 Alk - 90 FC - 6.0 CA - 30 CH - 75 This is an above ground...

The skimmer is not open. I has an aquadoor winter cover on it.

Ugh - Pool leak and cover fell in...

unfortunately the return plug is threaded and did not fall out. It has to be a leak somewhere... I can only assume its somewhere around the water level at this time given it hasn't leaked anymore than it has.

Ugh - Pool leak and cover fell in...

Looks like I have a small leak in my above ground pool as the cover has been slowly falling in over the last month and today it finally went into the pool. It's still winter in New England and we still have a while to go. Should I just leave the cover in the pool as its currently frozen in the...

I Don't Want to Lower My AGP Water for Winter?

This year, I too, am going to try winterizing the pool without draining the water below the skimmer. I have the winter plate and the plugs for the return lines, but as I think about it how does the ice not damage the return plug or skimmer? I would think the expanding ice on the plastic skimmer...

Anyone have deck drawings for 24ft pool?

Just be aware that lumber costs are through the roof. We put a large 25' x 20' deck on our 27' round pool late last summer and the cost is out of control. The deck you drew I bet is 15k+ right now
