I had to replace the GLX-PCB-PRO board in my Prologic PL-P-4 system due to the SWG circuit. The original board was configured with v4.30 software (090007-430-01) and the display software is v3.12. The replacement GLX-PCB-PRO board I got is configured with v4.47 software (090007-447-01). After replacing the board and powering things back on, the display goes through its power up sequence, displays its software version (3.12), and then indicates "COMMUNICATION ERROR". I disconnected the green terminal blocks on the left side of the board and power cycled but the error did not go away. I also reseated the display connector several times.
The display still works with the old GLX-PCB-PRO running v4.30 so I'm wondering if v4.47 is not compatible with the v3.12 display software? If it is not compatible, is it possible to use the PICkit3 to re-flash the GLX-PCB-PRO with an older software revision or re-flash the display with a newer software revision? If so, is there a repository where I can get the software?
I doubt it's related, but for completeness, I did also test my transformer since seemed pretty hot. Resistance is measuring at 3.6 Ohms on both wire pairs so I think I need to replace that as well.
