Pre pool opening (white water mold)

Starting at 26 and ending at 24 is a loss of 2, which fails. The 24 by itself isn't a pass. :)
I understand the loss of 1
I guess it’s in my head this water MUST be 24 with no loss to be able to go next step of the process.
Like I’m fixated on the 24 . (Thus the question to increase Lc to get it there ) The few times I did reach 24 were the 15 min test and 1 hour tests . Only once held 2 hours
Imma duck now because anger is next and I don't want to catch any flying objects upside the head. :ROFLMAO:
You are safe for now! I was mentally prepared to work on this pool for a month to get it straight, so you have a few more days before anger will get me haha (we are at the 4 day mark now)

Once we're in the clear, I have a good hack for never doing this again. Rename 'minimum' in your head to Whitewatermoldville. You will naturally never want to be on the outskirts of Whitewatermoldville, and will keep 2 bridges and half a highway between you. Cuz maybe the wind is blowing and you want NO part of any of that, not even a whiff. (y)

Wwmville 😂 I like it - the name I mean

I’m staying far far away from there

We are expecting severe weather, 3-4 inches of rain between now and midnight . I’ll do what I can test wise

Cmon man I am so close, don’t start throwing me wrenches

1:30 fc 22 cc 0.5
3:30 fc 23.5 cc 0.5
5:30 fc 20.5 cc 0.5
7:30 fc 21 cc 1 added 1qt 2 cups (2 oz over pm because end of gallon)
20 min later fc 24.5 cc 1

Of course you tell me but my feeling is I’m not ready for oclt . Seems Lc is on freshness wise?

Lets see what the am test says !
Get up with the roosters- 30 minutes before sunrise. Pro tip* Have some coffee first - its alot of drops to count lol 😆

Get up with the roosters- 30 minutes before
I’m up plenty early! I woke the rooster

The obstacle this morning is rain. Pool cover has 3-4 in of water on it. Cover Pump is working but not keeping up. It’s coming down too fast/hard. Only part of the pump out of the water at this point is the handle.

So long as no uv is on the water when you get your sample you’re fine. Since you have the cover on now this won’t be am issue this morning. Be sure the pool pump has been running for at least 30min before getting the sample. (Its easiest to just leave it going all night)
About the cover- it really should be off during slam most of the time. Especially for the oclt. It traps the cc’s & this can make you fail the oclt as cc’s of 0.5 or less is one of the goals.
You need the cc’s (which are a product of killing funky stuff with chlorine) to be able to escape & for the sun to help oxidize them.
For the next oclt - leave the cover off.

Thanks . Since I’ve started slam, pool is open all day but I have closed it every night. Pump runs 24/7 all season

Looks like we have 2 days of this ridiculous amount of rain ahead . Few hour break forecasted later this morning. Another 4 inches between now and tomorrow.

Should I leave it open now even with the rain?
Sure. And definitely leave it open tonight.

Take today off. The FC can drift down some and you'll still be plenty high compared to normal operating range.

Being a little lower won't hurt a thing after having 0 overnight loss and it might even help with the OCLT.
