Yet another glue question

Looking for confirmation Oatey All Purpose Cement will work with all fittings, including check-valve and Jandy. The Jandy diverter valve instructions list "WELD-ON® 724 CPVC GRAY IS RECOMMENDED".
Something that's not exactly readily available.

If I ensure adequate set time, would the Oatey All purpose work just fine?

It will say right on the glue container if it can be used for cpvc. If cpvc is listed as an acceptable use you are all set.

Follow the instructions on the container for hold and set times. As well as times to maximum strength.

Proper square cuts and using a two part glue of primer/cleaner followed y cement and assembly is you best bet for a solid joint. I'm not a big fan of the single step glue and primer all in one fancy pants stuff.

Regular PVC glue works.

Home Depot has 713 CPVC glue.

The only reason that you would want/need CPVC glue is for higher temperature applications.
