As long as your FC is between minimum and SLAM levels for your CYA, based on the FC/CYA Levels chart - and you can see the entire bottom of the pool (swimmer safety) - it's safe to use the pool.

Thank you where is the chart located? My test kit didn’t come with one.
Also I am reading the slam document and how can I find out how to backwash my system and where do I find what my slam level should be?

For backwash, get the make model number off the Multiport Valve (if you have a sand filter), and search that "make model manual" on google. The manual will explain the process.

I finally did the chlorine test last night after dark and this morning.
Last night fc was 16
This morning fc was 15.5
Do you think I should slam?
Based on that do you think I should slam still?
Fc has gone down significantly over the past few days almost in half but over nights seemed to stay some what stable.
