Wiring/Connecting Hayward Heater to Omnilogic

I have a new pool that is mostly up and running from an automation perspective but the pool company ran out of time the last time they were here and didn't finish wiring/connecting the heaters. I have a pool and spa heat pump but the one I care most about is the spa one as that gets daily use and while I can turn on manually, I cannot do it in the hayward app and the equipment is a total pain to get to each time I want to turn it on. Hoping someone here can help me. I tried wiring and programming it myself today as I am tired of waiting for the pool company to come back. See the pictures below for wiring. The connection at the heater was done by the pool company and then I tried to connect the 2 wires to LVR1 and progreammed it to the controller. While I see it in the app and can turn on/off in the app, nothing happens at the unit itself. Can someone help??!

Thank you in advance for any advice/tips!

You need to connect three wires, not two, from the COMM BUS in the heater to the OMNI COMM BUS connection on the upper left of the board. Not to the LVR on the Omni board.

Which is the Omni COM Bus in the panel? Assume the one with wires in it vs the one labeled HS Bus with no wires? When I try to add the heater to the controller, I only see low voltage and high voltage relays as options. Do I need to select it differently now?

Show me a pic of what you are looking at?

Yes. Delete any heaters you added then follow below...

Got it to register but now it only turns on the fan blade l for 10 seconds and then stops. I think it may be the wire but I'm not positive. Using 18 gauge thermostat wire that I picked up from home Depot so that I have 3 wires instead of 2 wires. Any ideas?

What model pump? Is it heat cool? If not heat cool use the 2 connect contact that I circled. Remove the blue jumper wire and set it to heat with the temp maxed or put it into BO mode.

Thank you for your posts. I had similar issue, in that I had an electrician install heater, but I needed to change the relay. At first this did not work so I ran a new 2 wire cable to connect the heater to LVR1. I had to delete the existing heater in Config Wizard and then install a new gas heater. Using a H400FDN for a 32,000 gallon pool with both spa and pool.
I also had to have the heater in the remote mode “bo” and then the mode set to spa to work correctly.
I don’t see how I could have used a 3 wire control between the heater and the Omnilogic controller, as the low voltage relays only have space for 2 wires.
I also had the to change the connection for the wires, as I had a 50% chance or wiring it correctly.
It only took 6 hours but I finally got all of my pool controls working again. Now to finish setting up themes.
We will no longer have to draw straws to see who turns off the heater after a night in the spa!
