Hi - new pool owner here. Can someone give me a ballpark estimate these days for a winter cover purchase and installation? My pool is freeform (~20x38). The pool is salt water and runs on pentair pump. Thank you

I got a dense mesh LoopLoc cover 2 years ago. It was a 20x40 with some custom work for side stairs and extra padding in that area. It was about $3300 out the door. $1750 for the cover, $1000 to install it (hardware and drilling holes in the patio), a 10% upcharge for grey (SO worth it, we hated the green one at the old place) and tax.
A solid cover would cost more, or also if it was more custom being a particurally weird shape.

I wouldn't even know how much a free form cover would cost. When I ordered mine, the pool company said that I was fortunate that a standard size (16x40) would fit my pool. If it was custom sized, it would be more. My cover cost $2460 including tax and installation.
