When can i add borate?

I have been working to get my TA down again after I drained off about 45% to lower CH. When am I good to add the borate? I understand it will tend to make adjustments to pH a bit slower but what about TA?

I've determined my TA is still 80 if I go by the recommendation to count the drops until the color stops changing and subtract one. Still adding MA and aerating to work on getting the TA lower. I seem to be stuck at 80.

In my opinion, you can add Borates anytime you want.

There is no reason to do it at any particular time vs. a different time.

Any time! I just do not recommend doing it during heavy winds lol
