The decking around my pool is currently out-dated and needs to be replacing. It was added much later than the pool and they used a pea-stone surface. In the summer it turns in to lava. In the past 1 year or so, the cracking of the decking has been getting progressively worse. Around the edges, where the major cracking is, is because the soil underneath is eroding. I need to fill in ASAP. The cracking is in the decking only and is not at all in the coping or the pool itself.
Aside from the major cracking on the edges I see that the previous owner used some kind of fill to seal some of the small cracks, but I don't know what it is. What is the best filler than I can use, that might also help prevent the cracks from getting larger?
