I have several old torn worn out pool covers and was wondering what others have done with them. I have used one or two for covering patio furniture but don't need that many for furniture. LOL
Seems like there must be something else I can do with them besides tossing in the trash. I have to replace them every 3-4 years and have also acquired several from my sister when she tore down her pool.
Thanks for any suggestions. :D

Lol. Timely thread. I just put my new cover on today and when it flattens itself out in a day or two I'll cut it.

Here's what I intend on doing... I'm going to keep the old ratty one stored. And it's what I'm going to use for the first few weeks after I open... That way i can just leave it on all the time even when I'm adding chemicals or slamming and not have to worry about the cover getting damaged.

If I had read this a few days ago when I was doing my landscaping I might have taken woodyp's idea though. Oh well.

Cut them up and use for landscaping fabric in flower beds?
Thanks!

Fingaling: Is this a solar cover or winter cover? Mine are winter covers. I like that idea for our solar cover.

Too funny. :jocolor:
