S,

I guess it really depends on what you want to do or control.. An EasyTouch is a pretty expensive item to just turn your pool on and off..

But yes, most EasyTouch system have a load center. All but the "lite" version which does not and something I would never recommend.. Lite models have an "L" in the models number, like PL4 or PSL4..

Here is a pic of the inside of an EasyTouch..

Thanks,

Jim R.

I’m putting in a new pump, filter, heater, and dome lights and maybe down the road a spa.

So, maybe a silly question, would the pumps power cord plug into that panel somewhere or is that connected to some other power source?

You see in my picture how it has the one outlet, would the easy touch include like four outlets or would I need a new power outlet fir both the pump and easy touch?

thanks!

S,

An EasyTouch is normally hard-wired to the main circuit breaker panel in the house.. It is basically a subpanel.

It is designed to have external things, like pumps or lights, etc, hard-wired into it via flex electrical tubing, which you can see in the above pic.

That does not mean that your electrician can't add outlets, it is just not how is it designed.

Thanks,

Jim R.
