What kind of above ground pool is this?

Hi All,

Purchased a home awhile back that has this 14’ above ground pool. It has a continuous one piece wall that appears to be resin or fiberglass. It measures 0.140” thick at the top ( 9/64”) so fairly thin. It is buried about 18” in the ground. I added the curved PVC piping on top of walls for cosmetics. Can someone please tell me;

1. How would you categorize/what’s the proper description/name for this type of pool? Is it just considered resin wall? Online search shows all resin pools with metal frames or some type of reinforcement and rails. I can’t seem to find any photos of this type of wall design.

2. Is it correct to have this wall style WITHOUT any framing or support?

Thanks in advance for all replies. Pic attached.

I am assuming that is an overlap liner. Curious to know what the top looked like before you died the PVC?

I have an all resin pool, and I can’t imagine it lasting for more than two seconds without uprights - the wall is extremely flexible when not supported, and not full. I don’t know what kind of pool that is.
