Wedding Cake step handrail

Hello,

i have a set of wedding cake steps. Handrail is missing. I can't find anywhere to get a replacement handrail. Does anyone know where to get one? Or can the steps be used without a rail attaching them to the deck?

Hi! I think they need to be attached some how to keep them stable. I would try Swimming Pool Supplies - Pool Parts - INYOPools.com They seem to have all kinds of out of the normal parts.

If I get enough weight in them, will they stay in place without the handrail?

Yes with enough weight the will stay put. Last year our railing was broken off by a drunken family member loosing his balance while getting out and he laid over on the hand rail as he fell and snapped it right off. We had quite a bit of weight in them already and they never really moved much but we also never got too rough while in the pool, splashing water all around so that could be why the didn't move much.

I actually liked that they weren't attached anymore as it made shifting them over to clean under a lot easier. But if you need a hand rail it might help to post a pic as there are many variants of wedding cake steps and different handles. A make or manufacturer name would be a huge help or even as suggested contacting Inyo pools. They can tell you a great deal with just a picture. good luck!!
