The water in our spa is extremely low despite our pool being at a regular level. I started noticing it go down gradually after the pool guy came and wondering if he may have adjusted our valves and accidentally did something with the spa. I see the valves for the spa all looks to be set to off but not sure how the settings should be.

Any advice? I attached pictures

001,

I took another look and I agree that your valves are set in the Pool mode.

What should happen in the Pool mode is that 'some' of the water, normally going back to the pool, is send through a make-up line to the spa. This should cause the spa to spillover into the pool.

The make-up line is right below the Return valve and it has a ugly brown check valve and a red ball valve...

Assuming the make-up line is working, the first thing I'd want to check is the filter pressure.. Is it high? If so your filter may be very dirty.

I also noticed that on your suction input to the main pump, that your main drain is shut off and that your skimmer is 'almost' shut off. It does not matter if the main drain is off, but your skimmer should be fully open.

It could also be that your make-up line has a bad "brown" check valve, that is not allowing water to pass through to the spa.

Thanks,

Jim R.
