UV/Ozone - Wish I Would Have Known

Update on Easytouch 4 upgrade to Intellicenter. They are doing the upgrade. They ordered the upgrade module and all associated parts. Should be switched out next week. I chose to not get the remote They supply, because it appears everything can be run from the app on your phone. The remote They tried to sell me was just about $1000. After all is said and done I get the pad the way I wanted it with the upgraded equipment, and I now have over $400 in credit to use at the pool store for chemicals, etc. So all turned out better than expected!

Make sure you have the load center and built in SWCG transformer. You'll really like your new equipment (I have the same setup you're getting).
I believe it has all that. I messaged him just to be double sure, lol.

If he is getting the "upgrade kit" instead of replacing the entire EasyTouch panel with a complete IntelliCenter panel they will keep the installed EasyTouch Load Center and replace the upper part low voltage board with an IntelliCenter Board. That should be fine as both the EasyTouch and IntelliCenter use the same basic Load Center cabinet.

Issue is if his EasyTouch did not have the SWG transformer installed the "upgrade kit" will not give it to him. He will need to use an external Intellichlor Power Center box.

If he got the entire EasyTouch system replaced he could get the complete IntelliCenter bundle with the SWG and built-in SWG transformer.

This piecemeal upgrading is costing someone more than necessary if the correct equipment was planned and ordered correctly. The IntelliCenter bundle with the included SWG is a very good deal.

You will not need ScreenLogic with the IntelliCenter. You need the Pentair kit 523557 (XCVR ASSY HPW 900MHZ INTELLICENTER) - includes 523434, 544425 and a blue ethernet patch cable which actually use two of the three modules that come in the ScreenLogic kit. Make sure your installer knows how to figure this out.
