Used Hot Tub Identification

Any identifying information is going to be behind the panel on the side that the controls are on. All the mechanicals are there and there may be something that identifies the year on the control board housing.

vp,

Not sure it helps, but the control panel fits the following tubs...

HotSpring Spa 1-pump Control Bezel 1998-current Prodigy (H 181001 to current) 1998-current Sovereign (I 181001 to current) 1998-current Jetsetter (J 181001 to current) 1998-current Classic (F 181001 to F 4B9999) 1998-2000 Vanguard (V 1C1001 to current) 2001-current Sovereign (ILE 1D1001 to ILE 4E9999) 2002-2003 Accolade (ACC 1G1001 to ACC 1H9999) 2005-2006

I'll see what else I can find later, as I have an appointment.

Thanks,

Jim R.

The serial number should be stamped somewhere inside the front panel. If so, a call to Hot Spring or Watkins with the s/n should do it. Sometimes a model abbreviation and year of mfr is embedded in the s/n.

If no s/n, one option might be to take a number of photos and take them to your local Hot Spring dealer. They may recognize a certain feature or two only available on specific models. That may help narrow it down.

From information found on another site it appears your tub was made in the third quarter of 2004 and was the 1528th unit number made.

2004/2005/2006 Hot Spring Grandee Model G is indicated by the letter in the serial number. for example.

Serial Number G-3F2015 the serial number would read G is model 3 third quarter F year(2004) and 2015 is the unit number made.

Serial Number G-3G2015 the serial number would read G is model 3 third quarter G year(2005) and 2015 is the unit number made.

Serial Number G-3H2015 the serial number would read G is model 3 third quarter H year(2006) and 2015 is the unit number made.

Serial Number G-3J2015 the serial number would read G is model 3 third quarter J year(2007) and 2015 is the unit number made.

I like Grandees. They're great tubs. At least the old one were. Not sure about the newer ones with computerized digital controls. The old ones like the one I have were super reliable and durable.
