Hello TFP!
I am looking for some advice. I was wondering if anyone has placed a few trichlor tab floaters in their pool while the winter cover is still on. I am going on vacation for a few weeks and thought that I would just wait to open the pool when I return. The weather will get warm and I am thinking that putting floaters in while gone will keep the chlorine levels up and keep it from turning green. The water level is about 5 -6 inches below the skimmer opening, so the pump will not be running at all. Will doing this pose any problem with the pool walls or vinyl liner? When filled, it is about a 14,000-gallon above-ground round pool. Also, if this is okay to do this, how many 3" tabs should I put in? Thank you for any help!
