I will see if they can alter the route to pass over your city.

Did your city apply for a flyover?

Can you send the link to the form … I only print in ASCII formatted files on a dot-matrix printer so it needs to be compatible with that.

Why did they schedule it in April? August is when we need a break from the sun around here, not April. Stupid government.

😈
You should be in the path of totality or very close.

Yes, we are directly in the path. They had something on the news a few months back about people charging crazy prices to rent out their houses for viewing parties in both Dallas and Austin. I think the Tesla HQ/factory in Austin is also planning on some sort of event.

I'm from Erie, PA and will drive home to see that. 5 1/2 hour drive but heck once in my lifetime to see that. I will sneak in a round of golf if they get an early spring.

I threatened to go visit friends in. San Antonio during that time - I think they thought I was joking.

In my opinion, it's really not fair that Carbondale gets two total eclipses when most places don't even get one.

It just seems suspicious to me, that's all I'm saying.

I am going to check into this further and find out what's really going on.

They are NOT going to get away with this if I can help it.
