We are new pool owners and noticed today a trillion super super tiny bugs on the walls and surface of the pool. It has rained for two days and I think they are thrips based on what I have researched but I wanted to ask do they go away on their own? I am skimming them like crazy but wondering if it will be a consistent problem we won’t be able to get rid of.

I would recommend making sure your FC level is good for your pool and that there's nothing growing in the pool for them to feed on. :)

Search Google and TFP for springtails.

I am having problems with them now. What did you do to get rid of them?
