Thinking of a VS pump. What size?

Hey guys,

I have a 25K gallon vinyl in ground pool. Right now I have a 1HP Heyward 115v pump/motor with 1.5 inch inlet/outlets.

I see the VS seems to be all 2 inch and 230v. Anything that anyone could recommend for me, I don't want to change the voltage.

Looks like both of the pumps you linked will work for me. Thanks for all that info. I see both will work with 115v and 1.5 inch pipe size. I was worried about dropped 2 inch to 1.5 inch and it choking down the pump.
 
Also consider the Pentair SuperFlo VS from an authorized E-Commerce dealer (EC-342001). Warranties vary between the VS and VST (Trade Version). The only significant physical difference between the two is the VST is compatible with RS-485 data cable connectivity.
 
SuperMax and Superflo are the same pump.

Buy whichever pump is available at the best price and warranty.
