Welcome to TFP! Yes, we recommend a TF-100/Pro-Series test kit (link in my signature) or a Taylor K-2006C. The TF-100 and Pro-Series kits are a better value IMO, but either one will suffice. The article below may help. Enjoy the forum. :swim:

At the risk of seeming like a shill for TF Test Kits, you can count on their sending fresh reagents. I went with a Taylor K-2006C from Amazon and only realized once I had a little more experience under my belt that I got lucky with the reagent freshness I received. I didn't regret the Amazon purchase, but if I were doing it again, knowing what I do about the randomness of Amazon sellers and the reliability of TF Test Kits, I'd go with TF Test Kits.

Absolutely. Unlike pre-stocked Taylor kits sitting in Amazon warehouses across the country for who knows how long, tftestkits.net ensures their stockpile turns-over with fresh reagents. All bottles are clearly marked. If for some very odd reason an old bottle managed to squeeze through their QC packing & shipping process, I'm sure @Sarah and Nate would expedite a replacement ASAP. They are very good about that kind of stuff. Family owned & operated. :goodjob:

Here's a good breakdown of the test kits :

if anyone can justify Taylor kits, with less supplies in k2006 and the wrong amount of supplies in the k2006C, I'd love to hear it.

We can still use their results, but TFT whoops them for value at either price point.
