Taylor K 2006 Test kit

Is this a good test kit? I am attempting to SLAM my pool and only have the generic Taylor OTO and PH test kit. I have ordered the K 2006.

The K-2006 has smaller reagent bottles. K-2006C is the recommended Taylor kit. The TF-100 is the best value.

You need the K2006C = the C matters. A better value is the TF100 from TFTestkits.net. If you are needing to SLAM, get the XL option, you will need the extra FAS-DPD reagents.

Waste of time using an OTO for most anything.

I have ordered the K 2006.

To complete a SLAM you are almost sure to need more of the reagents to test chlorine. During the SLAM you should be using this four or fie times a day to adjust your chlorine back to the SLAM level.

You may as well order more now.

It is the same as the K-2006, just with smaller vials of reagent. It will work fine, but you should re-order the above kit sooner than later so you don't run out mid SLAM process.
