Taylor K-2006 Refills or New Kit

Most of us reconfigured the partitions how we needed. Mine wasn't pretty needing room for the speed stir and salt kit, but it worked.

I appreciate the organization of the the TFpro every last time I use it.

I only use one mixing vial on a regular basis. For FC and then TA and CH a little less frequently. I’ve never had residue issues but I am a fussy rinser.

I have a separate vial for my salt kit which is stored separately in the old K-2006 case, with the old reagents I don’t use but cant part with. The only vial I’ve ever had residue issues with is the salt test vial but a little ammonia cleans it up nicely. And then there’s another box for spare vials, beakers, the borate stuff. Shelf space for calibration, storage and reference solutions. Distilled water for rinsing. Another cupboard for the glassware.

I just don't see how the TF-100 storage box is better than a Plano tackle box. Every item has its own little compartment versus several bottles in one compartment like in your photo. All to save about $20.

I didn't say it was better.

You said that you didn't see how all the stuff fit.

I posted a pic to show you.

My Tfpro case is going strong a couple years in, but if something happened to it, I'd replace it with another one right then and there.

I didn't see a SampleSizer in there. Also what I like about the Plano is that isn't air tight. Allow any residual moisture to evaporate.

Is the speed mixer that helpful?
So I used to say it was awesome blah blah blah and it was all too cliche'. Go and try to take somebodys away. Let that be your guide to how they feel about it. Protip: be prepared to fight dirty, because they will if they need to.

I used the swirl method for a few weeks before I got my SpeedStir. I agree, I may fight someone for it. LOL

I'd stab somebody trying to take mine without even giving it a second thought. ;)

If someone wanted to borrow it to see if they liked it, I would escort it and it would never leave my sight.

I ended up with 2 and had this friend that looked out for people in the way that if she had 2 of something, and you had none, *poof*, you both had 1 of them. So I sent her my spare, also being that person.

The first try shattered her old vial. The 2nd try shattered the 2nd vial. When the 3rd one worked, she sat in amazement and said 'still worth it'. :ROFLMAO:
