Has anyone had any luck wiring their Superflo VST (mfgt post 2020) via the RS-485 automation cable to the IntelliConnect. I tried following the instructions for the Superflo digital inputs - however it didn't work. Should i try a different automation panel? Any help on the wiring is appreciated!

PS. Looking to wire (2) Superflo's to an automation system :)

Cheers,
Steve

The Pentair IntelliSynch will provide wireless app control for all SuperFlo VS pumps through the RS-485 inputs or external low voltage inputs.

The above is from the Wiki article I linked. Not sure if it can handle two of them. Need to check with Pentair on that.

Talking to epoolsupply.com, it doesn't sound like the IntelliSync can handle two on one system. Looks like I am out of luck. . . I wonder if there is a different automation system that could handle both Superflo VST pumps. . .

An EasyTouch or IntelliCenter can handle two Pentair VS pumps.

Note that Pentair announced the following in April 2023:

Pentair is discontinuing the IntelliTouch, EasyTouch, and EasyTouch PL4/PSL4 Pool Control Systems. These products will no longer be available to order starting:

  • July 31, 2023 for all IntelliTouch Systems
  • September 29, 2023 for all EasyTouch Systems
We recognize these products have been in high demand for many years. However, given advancements in Pentair innovation and evolving industry demands, we are transitioning focus to the latest technology standards included with the IntelliCenter Pool Control System.

See the Superflo VST Manual page 5. The VST supports two pump addresses under RS-485 that the IntelliCenter uses.
