My IntelliFlo pump runs 24/7/365, so I never worry about freeze protection.. but, then I have no Spa or a Single speed spa pump..

I would not think you'd have much to worry about in your location..

That said... Years ago I was stationed at Eglin AFB and went TDY to Alaska for a 'cold weather exercise'.. When we left Eglin, it was colder there, than it was in Alaska...
