Spa draining since actuator replacement

That’s the return actuator, your intake actuator looks like the problem. He probably tested the actuators and your intake over corrected.

BINGO! Don’t know who did it but this was the answer. I cammed it to stop earlier and it created a better seal and stopped the drain. Thanks so much for the help!

Yeah I'm glad Jimrahbe said that. I couldn't figure out why the spa suction has a check valve. It prevents water from flowing to the spa. That would only make sense if some part of the the pool is higher. My plumbing doesn't have it.

Ya super odd. Here’s the picture. My only guess would be to keep water from back flowing out of the pump basket and cause a priming issue when starting everything up from spa mode? Best guess but have no clue.
