Sonance Speaker Placement Input

Hi All,

We are about to being construction shortly and I have started planning our speaker layout using the Sonance 6.1 landscape speakers. Looking for feedback for those who have planned their outdoor audio. My focus is to have speakers placed in areas where we will be sitting the most.

I will setup 2x zones
- Zone 1: pool and seating area
- Zone 2: firepit

I will have a small wall with 2x water fall features. Would it be best to put put 2x of the speakers at Zone 1 Option 1 location or option 2 right behind the wall pointing at the house? My concern with option 2 is that the water fall features might drown out the sound from speakers if placed there?

I would use Zone 1 Opt 1 as having speakers away from the water feature. This will give you sound from the left and right side of pool
The Zone 2 at the Fire Pit is good.
My daughter is looking at the Sonance system as well for a new outdoor kitchen area.

Thx for the feedback. I just picked up the Sonance set to test out. For ambient music I think they sound fantastic.

I’m thinking what I will do when I run the speaker wire is wire for both option 1 & option 2 locations that way I can adjust as necessary.
