Snap & Glue PVC saddle tee for stenner injetion port

Has anyone used one of these on 1-1/2" or 2" pipe? I have used them successfully on higher pressure, although smaller OD 1/2" & 3/4" pipe. I am leaning toward drill and tap, but considering this as back up. No flex in piping to install full slip on tee.

Seems like an easy solution at a much lower cost than a union. I went the union rout for a full "T", but never saw the snap/glue part.
