A better investment would be to figure out why your skimmer is not working like it should...

Skimmer works fine, the handle broke off and my wife refuses to stick her hand down in the skimmer to pull it out because of what she thinks could be in there...

I have added these to my skimmer baskets, GPIAngel Skimmer Basket Handle. Have lasted 11 years so far. I also have a basket without this for when I need to vacuum. There are cheaper ones on Amazon too not sure if they are same, better or worse.

I had 3/4 electric conduit leftover from the build so I made a J tip on the end with two 90s so I don't have to bend over. I sunk a 3 inch coated deck screw into the bottom to help pop the skimmer cover off.
