Salt Pool Store issues

I purchased a pool salt cell from Salt Pool Store on 26 April. It was defective!


I asked to return it for credit. PayPal supplied an address to ship it to. This was a bogus address as the company was not at this address nor had they ever been!

Tons of bad reviews and warnings.

It seems that they are out of Australia and they use fulfillment centers in the US to fulfill orders.

This is actually another fulfillment center in Louisville, KY by the name of ShipMonk, (click on ‘Get Directions’ above for details). The phone # on their website, I have been told is a call center in the Philippines. Most of the time if you call the number no one answers or you get hung up on. Every now and then someone will answer it, but don’t believe anything they tell you.

I've made about a dozen comments here thru the years about these guys but unfortunately people still fall for their scam. We only find out about some of the "victims" when they post on TFP. It happens to many hundreds of people per year. Say goodbye to your money. You probably have a 25% chance of receiving a warranty replacement. There is no such thing as a 5 yr warranty AND the lowest prices by $200. The gray cells are CompuPool cells.

I’ve been in the business 25 years so I know when a piece of equipment is broken . We purchased a Hayward clone cell for resale and it was no functioning on one side of the cell from start up. Jumped through all their hoops and now no response for 19 days and all phone lines hang up on you . Stay away
