(Royal Swimming Pools)

Hello all,

We're finally ready to pull the trigger on an AGP. We are strongly considering a pool from Royal Pools, despite their supply chain issues during the continued COVID issues. Looking for feedback on the HII Embassy line of pools from them - anyone have experience good or bad?

UPDATE - we purchased the HII Embassy Royal Sands 15' over the weekend. The manager said they were in-stock ready to ship and only had 5 left.

Looks like you hit “send” a little prematurely lol! I assume you were going to say you’re strongly considering a pool from Royal Swimming Pools. I do not have any experience with them but I’ve seen them discussed on this forum. Another site worth checking out is www.thepoolfactory.com. They’re even having a sale right now. I recently purchased a pool from them and the experience was great! When you post the rest of your post, I’ll think of more to say haha. But congrats on your decision to finally get a pool!!!! You won’t regret it!!

I'm in the manufacturing business and I must have an open mind when it comes to supply-chain and lead times. The majority of the upset reviews (including those on the BBB website) are because of the lead times associated with the pools people ordered. Misinformation from a supplier (pool manufacturer) is passed down to the consumer (everyone at home on lock down), creating the perfect storm of delays and unimaginable lead times. COVID hit everyone differently, including the company I work for and fortunately we were prepared to supply our customers (although prices increased). Unfortunately, not all businesses were prepared and it looks to be the case with Royal. I did my homework and the manager of Royal emailed me with an exact quantity they had IN STOCK of the pool we wanted. I did some homework, then purchased it.

Good point! Sorry, I didn’t mean to come across as biased or rude. I apologize. CONGRATS on purchasing your new pool!!!! Is it a Doughboy? I remember Royal having a lot of them when I checked out their site a while ago when I was still in the market for a new AGP. Oh, and we LOVE pictures on this forum so please keep us updated and post pics when it’s all set up!

You didn't come across as rude and thank you ! We went with the Royal Sands Embassy by HII - manufacturer of Doughboy. I did research till my head was spinning ever since October 2020. We are going to bury it about 24" and I will try to post build pictures. Customer service said the pool is ready to be shipped and we should have it in about two weeks. FINGERS CROSSED
