My rock waterfall has been a pain since I bought this house. It's eroding and holds water in certain areas which causes more debris and algae. How can I fix this? Can I just get concrete and mortar to smooth and fill in areas? What sealant can I use? If I could get it removed I would but $$$$$. Any help is greatly appreciated 👏

Use Type S mortar or gout around your rock wall.

Plan on annual maintenance for that water feature. No way to stop water from eroding rock. IT is water that crated the Grand Canyon.

What can I use on top of the rocks? Like to fill in those dips and spaces. Or will that mortar work as well?

It is not clear to me what dips and spaces you want to fill. I get the sense you are saying you want to reshape the face of the rocks.

Are those natural stones or faux concrete stone?

I don't see how you are going to reshape it and not end up with other places water will collect.

You can give it a try.

Anything that you do that does not cost $$$ will look like it did not cost $$$.

Remove it. Spend once, cry once, and move on.
